The Puppy Manifesto - Goldendoodle

Goldendoodle - English Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle

After waiting six months we are now less than 10 days away from the pick date! One of these lucky pup's is coming home with us on Christmas! I would say I am already sick of puppies because of all the reading & preparing we have already done... but they are just so damn cute!

Always Friday - Antrem 27

This Honda Civic may look small. This Honda Civic may seem like it was not designed to pull a trailer & sailing vessel behind it. But this observation is only for the lay person who does not realize that physics does not apply to John Lieberman. John could care less about mass, shear tension, transportation safety laws & common sense. This salty behemoth of the bay area throws Always Friday on the back of this 90 horse power beast like a used McDonald's lunch bag.

French Danielle

I wink at you and say with a sexy accent of the French "Vous ressemblez à un débile."

Vegas Baby... Vegas

How could a night out as a VIP to at the Playboy Club at the top of the Palms in Las Vegas get any better?

If it's your girlfriends idea...

Vegas treated us well this weekend. Danielle was attending a fitness convention and was rocking to the beat of the oldies all week. I on the other hand played house wife taking in the room service and lounging by the European pool at Mandalay.

The tables were good to me this time around netting a couple grand to pay for the entire thing and leave some change left over to buy a new Scooba to mop the floors while I watch the new HDTV.

Fog

In case you ever wondered what it is like to sail in a fog bank in the San Francisco Bay. It felt a lot like Pirates of the Caribbean only the wind surfers and shipping channel traffic fog horns made the scene even more surreal. Visibility was about 100 feet. First time I had sailed by sense of smell. Word of advice; if you hear a fog horn in the bay area; turn away from it, its bigger than you are.

Meadowood Estates - Napa Valley

4th of July weekend was spent lounging by the Meadowood Estate pool in Napa. Danielle and I were spoiled with Four Seasons service in this golf cart gem in St. Helena. We are not surprised at all they are 2 Michelin Stars rated. Our 8 course chef’s menu meal took three hours to enjoy. I highly recommend the Rockfort & Cherry Port Reduction combination.

We were extremely fortunate to be invited to stay here as a gift from Danielle’s clients Stan and Julia. We could have not picked a better weekend, everything was exceptional.

So I Went To Circus School Today...

And our class was studying flying trapeze technique...
<--Check Out More Photos Here-->

From a guy with a lot of tattoos.

and yes; my tubby physique was capable of being caught mid-air.

Basically you sign up for circus school; they spend about minute and a half on safety; show you what a trapeze is; then yell "HUP" and you are supposed to swing to your catcher while listening to a barrage of commands involving feet; knees; and hip placement. All while upside down and out of shape. Try It!

Drakes Bay - 2 Day Off Shore Race (Overnight)

This race was not for the feint of heart.

Two days of grueling battle with 30 knot winds and 12ft+ swells. John Liebenberg, Ben Mack & Chris Martin won our class that race. Of course that's because every other boat in our class dropped out due to conditions & other races that day.

I am not really as tough as i look in this picture, i was crying like a baby when my legs cramped up as we were pulling into Drakes to anchor. I was a little too cold & wet sitting on that rail all day and quickly found myself being humbled.

I threw in this photo of the less photographed side of Alcatraz, I don't think it fair for tourists to always neglect the bay side of the island.

Subaru's, Les Claypool, and Terrain Park

A tribute to all those that love snow, Les Claypool, and Subaru's. Thanks Mike Campanelli!

Presidio Living

Check Out Where This House Is - Yahoo! Maps
After much deliberating I have decided to use blogger.com as my portal to the outside world. I'll be armed with my trusty iPhone and hopefully reporting once a day or so.

Shown here is the new home in the Presidio of San Francisco that Danielle are trying to move into this month. Well, at least we want to move into half of it. 3bd 1 Bath; 1275 square feet and a HUGE basement. There is a partial view of the Golden Gate Bridge. ie we can see some red through the eucalyptus trees.
